Westman Immigrant Services
Westman Immigrant Services (WIS) is a not-for-profit organization that supports newcomers across Western Manitoba by providing settlement, employment, language, and community integration services. WIS works to empower immigrants and refugees while building stronger, more welcoming communities.
To help newcomers successfully settle and thrive by providing the resources, support, and connections they need to build successful lives in Canada, while creating lasting, positive impact within the communities they serve.
WIS partnered with ICSN to recruit volunteers for the FIFA World Cup 2026 volunteer program, connecting newcomers with meaningful opportunities to gain event experience, build professional skills, and engage with one of the world’s largest sporting events.
